Composite Manufacturing Team Leader (RBAT)

Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) are looking for a Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to lead day-to-day composite production activities, ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of components for a variety of innovative engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and develop a team of composite manufacturing technicians and chargehands. - Deliver production plans in line with quality, cost and delivery targets. - Drive a strong safety-first and Right First Time culture. - Monitor performance, resolve production issues and escalate risks proactively. - Support training, performance management and team development activities. - Champion continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and productivity. - Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Programme teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Requirements

- Significant experience within composite manufacturing. - Strong understanding of prepreg carbon fibre manufacturing processes. - Previous experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams. - Knowledge of laminating, vacuum bagging, autoclave curing, bonding, trimming and assembly processes. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation. - Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. - Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.
