About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Operating at the highest levels of international motorsport, M-Sport UK delivers programmes across the FIA World Rally Championship, Rally Raid and a variety of global customer racing activities. We’re looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join our growing HR team at our Dovenby Hall headquarters.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle across M-Sport UK, providing professional and responsive HR support to employees and managers across the business. Working closely with colleagues across HR and the wider business, you will help ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and consistently, supporting our people and the successful delivery of our motorsport programmes.
The role responsibilities include:
HR Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support across the HR function, ensuring employee records, documentation and HR processes are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Employee Lifecycle: Support the administration of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes to employment, transfers, promotions and leavers.
Recruitment Activity: Assist with recruitment activities including vacancy administration, interview coordination, candidate communication, pre-employment checks and new starter documentation.
New Starter Support: Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding requirements, ensuring new starters receive the appropriate information and documentation ahead of joining M-Sport.
Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems, ensuring information is recorded in accordance with company procedures and data protection requirements.
HR Queries: Act as a first point of contact for routine employee HR quires, providing professional and timely support or escalating matters where appropriate.
Payroll Support: Assist with the preparation and administration of monthly payroll, ensuring relevant employee information and changes are processes accurately and within required deadlines.
Absence & Leave: Support the administration and recording of employee absence, annual leave and other employee-related processes.
HR Policies & Procedures: Assist with the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures and processes, ensuring these are communicated and applied consistently.
Employee Relation Support: Provide administrative support for employee relations processes, including meetings, documentation, correspondence and maintaining appropriate records.
General HR Administration: Provide wider administrative support to the HR team whilst assisting with ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement activities as required.

Essential Criteria & Skills:
Organisation & Attention to Detail: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR activities and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to liaise professionally with employees, managers, candidates and external stakeholders.
Confidentiality: A high level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential employee information and sensitive HR matters.
Administration Skills: Strong administrative ability with the capability to manage HR processes, documentation and employee records accurately and efficiently.
Customer Service: A professional and employee-focused approach with the ability to provide a responsive and supportive service to colleagues across the business.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve routine HR and administrative issues effectively, knowing when matters require escalation.
IT Literacy: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Time Management: Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet strict deadlines within a busy fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience within an HR, people, recruitment or administration role.
Working towards or holding a relevant HR qualification, such as CIPD would be advantageous.
